The W8MAI social net is a social gathering of local hams held on the 146.820 repeater every Saturday night at 9pm local time.

Bring topics you are interested in and discuss with other hams. Make friends. Drink coffee, tea, and talk.

This net is a semi directed net. After checkins are completed your call sign will be called on to make a comment on a subject you are interested in. Stations wishing to respond should call net control. Net control will recognize you, and remain silent while the exchange takes place. If a third station wants to comment, they can be recognized by one of the stations in the exchange. When the stations are finished, they will call net control to conclude. And then the next station on the list will be called. Please bear in mind that we want to include all monitoring stations.
