The CROP walk is an annual fundraising event where we provide communication for water stations and roving assistance vans. This event is a great time to use your radio to support a charitable event. The time commitment is usually about 4 hours. Check back later for the 2017 date. |
Apple Cider Century Bicycle Ride

Each year we provide communication from remote location along the bike routes in order to connect riders to the ride operations center. It's a fun day of community service. Mark your calendar for the next ride! |

Field Day is an annual event when hams get to test their emergency preparedness. Operating for 24 hours on emergency power can be both a challenging, yet enjoyable experience for hams of all ages.

Michigan QSO Party |
Each year members participate in the Michigan QSO Party and report their contacts, contributing to the club score. Whether participating from home or at the multi-multi environment, the event is a good time and a great way to get on the air. Just remember to affiliate your points with Blossomland Amateur Radio Association!

BARA High-Altitude Balloon |
In August 2008, BARA launched it's first High Altitude Balloon from Eau Claire, Michigan. It is estimated that the balloon reached a maximum altitude of 80,000 feet.
